Loads of caraway in our chewy, traditional Jewish rye. Historically Jewish rye has often included caraway, a spice commonly used in the regions where rye was grown in Europe. Most Americans think that rye has a very strong flavor, but it’s really the caraway they’re tasting. Our version includes both ground caraway and plenty of whole caraway seeds throughout the loaf. If you like caraway, you’ll love this bread. Slice it and serve with corned beef, pastrami, salami, or almost anything else. It’s hard to go wrong with this one.
