In our quest for continuous improvement, this traditional treat for Good Friday is now better than ever, with upgraded ingredients and revamped techniques. We make this tender yeasted bun with freshly milled whole grain durum wheat, high extraction hard red spring wheat, golden raisins, currants, house-made candied orange and lemon peel, and a touch of mahlab spice (ground cherry seed kernel) from Épices de Cru. Then we top all of this goodness with a sweet royal icing cross. Betcha can’t eat just one!
